THE DOLL LOOK

Rest assured: we’re not talking about the Barbie look, here! The doll look, in its current version, is soft and feminine, and it uses fluid materials that remind us of the pretty outfits of our favorite childhood figurines! Not so childish, this look can be very elegant and comfortable, since the cuts associated to this trend are usually loose and vaporous. Pretty and comfy? Count us in.

TIERED-RUFFLES

Ruffles, tiered or not, are a typical detail of that trend! They are most often found in dresses, but also on sweaters, shirts or blouses. Besides being super pretty, they accentuate different body parts, depending on how they’re arranged. For example, a person with strong hips will be able to balance their figure with ruffles in the upper body. On the other side, ruffles at the bottom of a dress or skirt will balance stronger shoulders. Have fun with proportions!

PATTERNS

We say “doll,” you say flowered patterns and polka dots! These delicate patterns can, of course, be worn separately with a plain piece, but you can also dare to mix them up! In the same hues, these patterns are a perfect match. To maintain the doll look, we prefer small size patterns.
