Always cold? We’re here to help!

We all know a woman that’s al-ways cold. The one that wears gloves and scarves in the office, that always borrow a cardigan when she comes to dinner at our place or that wear so many layers when she goes out that it seems she’s going on a North Pole expedition. Get it? If you recognize yourself in the situations listed above, this article is just for you! Let the MFMK stylists warm you up in style.

TIP 1 - XXL SCARF

A shawl or a wide scarf is an excellent choice for those who want a warmer option on hand. Just keep it in your handbag and put it on as needed when you feel chilly. It doesn't even have to be very thick to make a difference: just make sure it's a good size and wrap yourself up in it, to cover the neck and shoulders. Voilà!

TIP 2 - NATURAL MATERIALS

Aside from insulating synthetic fabrics, people that tend to be chilly will be better off avoiding synthetic fabrics like polyester. Instead, prefer natural materials such as wool, cotton, cashmere or even velvet, which will help keep you warm. Think about all the layers of your outfit, even the tights! Wool or cotton knit tights are very popular during winter, and will warm you up.

TIP 3 - TAKE A ROSEMARY BATH

Nothing better than a nice hot bath in the cold season to warm up to the bone. And did you know that the perfume of rosemary activates the blood flow and therefore naturally warms the body? Infused with pine, eucalyptus and, of course, rosemary, the Boreal essential oil from the SELV line is a perfect addition to your winter bath. A moment of relaxation and of perfect warmth! Psst, use promo code “mfmk10” to get a 10% discount on your SELV purchases.

TIP 4 - THE CARDI-JACKET

Less structured than a jacket, but still profesh’, the cardi-jacket is an excellent option to stay warm in the workplace. For maximum heat, we suggest you choose it rather long. Also, consider choosing it loose enough to be able to comfortably slip a thick sweater underneath!

TIP 5 - THE TURTLE NECK

Under a dress, jacket, loose sweater or even a shirt, the thin cotton turtleneck is THE favourite tip of our stylists. In addition to adding a trendy touch to your outfit, it is perfect for keeping your neck warm! Here it is available in several colours and sleeve lengths. Clearly a must! Grab a couple of them.

TIP 6 - A HOT-WATER BOTTLE IN HAND

Who said the hot-water bottle was only for stomach aches? To warm up quickly, fill your hot water bottle with hot water and slip it under your sweater. Heaven!

TIP 7 - SOFT CARDIGAN

Nothing new here, but you can't go wrong with the big, fluffy cardigan during the cold season. Pair it with literally everything: classic little dress, jeans /t-shirt duo or even a blouse. Cozy and stylish, it’s even trendier in a rich and deep colour. Think emerald, red, eggplant or amber.
