6 FALL TRENDS WE LOVE

header blog.jpg

Ah, September! Pumpkin spice lattes, colourful trees and… fall trends, yay! It’s definitely an interesting time in fashion, every year. Just like 2020, this season, fall fashion is meant to be strong and intense. We’re talking about the materials, the accessories and the cuts, too. We dare to counter the rules of fashion, and opt for a less classic silhouette. Own it, ladies!

MATRIX LEATHER

Pants, dress, shirt, jacket: black leather is everywhere this year. For an authentic and rebellious look, go with the classic black. If your budget is tight, synthetic or vegan leathers are excellent options. The quality and the realism of these materials have greatly improved over the years!

SHOULDER VOLUME

Let’s hear a big “WOW” for the shoulder pads and puffed sleeves! Women with wide hips will love them, since it helps balance their figure. If you’re more of the V type and already have broad shoulders, don't worry: you are right on trend. Dare to wear volume and embrace this imposing style without compromise!

LOAFERS

This fall, to the absolute pleasure of our feet, the classic loafer is more popular than ever. Inspired by the male wardrobe, it nevertheless has a very feminine allure, with its almond toe and small heel. A real it piece that we pair with both our pants and our dresses.

MIX OF BOLD COLOURS

Dare to use colours in a “colour-block” formula! Cobalt blue and yellow, green and orange… the combinations are endless and are perfect to brighten up the season! Our favourite duo, however, goes to purple mixed with bright pink. This is the pair that will turn heads this fall. Try it!

MOSS-GREEN

After the 2019 amber moment, it's now moss green time to shine! It’s a soft and versatile colour, that perfectly pairs with brown or yellow on warm skin tones. Cold skin tones will probably prefer to pair it with black or purple. If you're hesitant to wear green close to your face, consider slipping a black turtleneck under your sweater. #protips

TAPESTRY PATTERNS

In direct connection with the folk trend presented last week, tapestry patterns will be very present this fall. Rich and decorative, these baroque-inspired patterns take us out of the classic stripes or polka dots, and we love it! For a more traditional look, add it as a little touch, like a blouse under a jacket. The most daring fashionistas can combine it with other rich materials, such as velvet and leather or even another less busy pattern. Have fun!
