Are you sporty? To be honest… we’re not. But we must admit that the new trends in sportswear kind of make us want to go back to the gym! Well, almost. Colourful, stylish, made from ultra-comfy fabrics… A dream – for a Sporty Spice or not!



Enjoy the wonders of winter on the slopes! Many physical and mental benefits are associated with alpine skiing. When you exercise, your brain produce endorphins, also known as the hormones of happiness. And we can’t help but like the speed, adrenaline and the feeling of power and freedom that come with it, too! It’s pretty awesome.

PERFECT OUTFIT: Windproof, waterproof and breathable are the three words to keep in mind. Gore-Tex has them all. The pores of this technical fabric are smaller than a water droplet, but larger than a water vapour molecule, which makes this textile completely waterproof, while allowing perspiration to escape. Amazing! For the base layer, stay away from cotton because it retains humidity.




If you hate sweating, swimming is the sport made for you! This full-body workout allows you to hit all your major muscle groups in a soft, but efficient way. As if that weren’t enough, the buoyancy of water (hence no joint impact) makes swimming perfect for people with injuries. Jump in!  

PERFECT OUTFIT: Ladies, go for a wide strap one-piece swimsuit that keeps everything in its place!



Yoga is a discipline based on a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices, that originated in India thousands of years ago. Pushing your physical limits while controlling your breathing makes you realize how strong you really are: it’s one of the most beautiful things you can learn from this sport.

PERFECT OUTFIT: You want to make sure your clothes are not going to bother you - think comfy! Go for stretch fabrics that will stay dry even if you sweat. Synthetic fabrics, like elastane, are known for their exceptional elasticity and fast-drying properties.   




Have you ever heard of active contemplation? Enchanting decor, birds whistling, falling snow... Walking can be practised everywhere, in town or in the countryside, whether you have only ten minutes or a big hour to spend outside. Go for it!

IDEAL KIT: Of course you’ll need a good pair of boots! Warm, comfortable and light. As for pants, keep the huge snow pants of your childhood in the past where they belong, and opt for thin and lined pants that will be warm enough for your active walk. Good thick gloves and a few layers of technical clothing can’t hurt, either!




People either love or hate going to the gym. There’s no in between. However, those who haven’t been to the gym for a while would be really surprised to see how much things have changed. Group classes, the stretching area, lots of training equipment to choose from, the health bar… Joining a gym is also discovering a whole new world and community! 

PERFECT OUTFIT: Once again, look for comfy and breathable fabrics. Ladies, make sure you wear a sports bra. Crisscrossed straps at the back offer great support, and we suggest choosing an antibacterial fabric, especially if you don’t wash your bra every time you wear it.
