We took advantage of the long weekend to ask you if shorts were suitable for all ages, and we were pleased to see that the vast majority answered yes! We totally agree, and in this article, we’ll show you how to wear shorts even if you’re no longer in your twenties!

THE RIGHT BALANCE

In order to create well-balanced outfits, we usually dress lighter on top or bottom, not both at the same time. So, if you’re wearing shorts, going for a top with sleeves will create a much more accessible and versatile outfit. Of course, we know that summer months can be really hot so you don’t have to go for anything heavy. Just a cute chiffon blouse or a light kimono will do!

SHORTS AND MICRO SHORTS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS

Who never spotted butt cheeks showing under micro shorts? If that’s what comes to mind when you think about shorts, you might be a bit reluctant to buy yourself a pair. However, the mid-thigh length is trendy, flattering, comfy and it’s certainly short enough to allow you to enjoy the nice weather!

SHORTS SUITS

Shorts suits are becoming more and more popular, and if the dress code at your workplace isn’t too strict, you can even wear them to work! PS: Shorts suits are also ideal for many other occasions. See how Carelia Moran from my small wardrobe wear the casual chic uniform. Flawless!

LIGHT AND FLUID WEAVE

Spring collections have finally arrived and we must admit that we’re completely crazy about those comfy fluid shorts! As for us, we all remember trying on dozens of pairs of thick and tight shorts because that’s all we could find back then, and quite frankly, we couldn’t be happier that times are changing!

BERMUDA SHORTS

Long snubbed, these long shorts are back in full force. Thanks to their loose and long fit, they’re ideal to conceal tricky areas and make your legs look thinner. Afraid you might look like a girl scout? Simply go for trendy details such as prints or a tie belt!

SHORTS AND SHOES PAIRINGS

Shoes set the tone of your look, so they’re the key element of any outfit. When it comes to shorts, all types of shoes can work. Sneakers, stilettos, wedges… However, don’t forget that they’ll influence your whole look, so make sure to give it a thought!
